The resin bonded Grinding Wheel generally contains 3 full sheets of reinforced fiberglass for helps to increased durability and safety. Also can design for 2 nets and 2.5 nets to improve required sharpness. Grassland provide grinding wheels with 4mm,6mm,6.5mm,7mm and 8mm thickness for customers’ reference. The metal grinding wheel is ideal for high performance cutting in all types of ferrous metals and stainless steel. The metal grinding wheel has proprietary aluminum oxide grain combination for aggressive cutting action and the proprietary material mix ensures durable long life wheel. There are also grinding discs for grinding stone, concrete, cast iron and glass, etc. Usually grinding wheel comes in a pack of 5 for user's convenience.

There are two main types of grinding wheels, where various numbers differentiate between wheels with specific properties and uses — type 41 flat snagging wheels, type 27 grinding wheels wheels.

TYPE41
the snagging wheel has a straight profile and makes it ideal for use on high-speed die grinders for grinding off excess metal. Type 1 snagging wheels incorporate aluminum oxide grains for a long life grinding and a consistent cut-rate.

TYPE 27
Type 27 is by far the most common abrasive grinding wheel. Type 27 grinding wheels differ from other wheels in that they have a flat profile with a depressed center. A depressed center allows for clearance when the operator must work at a constrained angle.

Using a wheel with a depressed center allows for a range of grinding angles, typically from 0 to 45 degrees. However, the optimal angles for working with type 27 grinding wheels range from 25 to 30 degrees. The steeper the grinding angle, the more aggressive the cut will be.
